Alley Spring Campground is located at Jacks Fork River mile-marker 31. Operated by the NPS, it is open year round. Alley Spring may be a big campground, but it�s a wonderful place to camp in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It�s not merely a beautiful place on the Jacks Fork River, but a historical one as well. The Alley Spring Community once thrived in this pretty river bottom, anchored by the Alley Mill, which still stands next to the deep, clear pool of Alley Spring. When you�re not on the river, you can hike a trail around the millpond or explore the old mill on one of the organized tours offered during the summer months.


Alley Spring Campground has 162 family sites that can accomodate a maximum of 6 persons and 2 tents. Some are on a first come, first served basis. Family sites are $14.00 per night without hook-ups, and electric sites are $17.00. Water systems are turned off from October 15th through April 15th. There are 3 group sites available. Group sites can not accomodate recreational vehicles, since there are no electrical or water hook-ups. Group sites can accommodate from 7 to 45 people. Reservations are required for group sites. Group sites cannot accommodate recreational vehicles. There are no electrical or water hook-ups. Group sites are $100.00 per night. Traditional Ranger led campfire programs are offered in the campground amphitheater on weekends during the summer.
