Jason's Place Campground is located approximately two miles from the Current River at Akers Ferry at river mile-marker 16.7 and in the heart of Ozark National Scenic Riverways. There are no ATVs, dirt bikes or fireworks allowed in the campgrounds. Jason's Place Campground is set up in two areas, one on the upper level of a ridge (quiet) and one below (loud). So you can camp depending on the noise level of other campers. They have stores on both levels. The main office and store on the upper, quiet level, and another in Happy Hollow which is open 24 hours a day during the weekends. Three shower houses plus flush toilets throughout the campground, a swimming pool, sand volleyball courts and miniature golf and a game room.

There are RV hook-ups, family sites, and the campground can handle any size group for tent camping from 2 to 100+ people. There is a restaurant open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available offering variety, speed and reasonable prices. Deli Sandwiches, Steaks, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and a BBQ Buffet on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on weekends. Memorial Day through Labor Day. Jason's Place Campground has many conveniences. For example: Secluded Group Campsites, Spacious & Shady Family Campsites, Modern Restroom Facilities, Hot Showers (coin operated), Electric Hook-Ups, Swimming Pool, Picnic Tables, Groceries, Ice, Crafts, Souvenirs, Snacks, Innertube Rentals, Lighted Sand Volleyball Courts, Cabins, Dump Station and Water Hook-ups.
